Well my lovelies! I am not done with my summer work and school starts next Monday!!!!! But I miss the blogging community and I hoped its missed me! I will be doing a book review tomorrow on Identical by Ellen Hopkins but today its all about the Top Ten! So here we go!

Today's Top Ten subject is Top Ten Characters You Would Switch Places With for 24 Hours.

1. Hazel Grace Lancaster from The Fault in Our Stars. She may have had some hell of a cancer, but I think the chance to meet someone as great as Augustus Waters would have made it a hell of a lot better.

2. Juliet/ Ariel from Juliet Immortal. I think having someone so dark and evilly sexy as Romeo would be great! But to also have sweet sweet Ben there to save the day would be awesome!

3. Vladimir Tod from The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod. I think Vladimir is a great male vampire character. He isn't rich and he isn't all that handsome (In some people's eyes. I think he is hella sexy!), and he sucks at math. He's like a normal teenage boy except he is a vampire and someone is always trying to kill him. But I want to see what a day is like in Vladimir's life.

4. Jenna Solitaire from Keeper of the Winds. This book was amazing and had amazing characters! Its like a witchcraft mystery and I loved it! Jenna is a great character and has an amazing adventure! I would love to see what that was like!

5. Katarina from Heist Society. Okay. Awesome thief, hot boy billionaire bestfriend, unlimited resources, and a colorful family history... Okay I'm sold!

6. Marc Antony from Julius Caesar. Okay is Marc Antony not the greatest Roman who ever lived!? I think so! He is a great man who avenges his bestfriend he is a great military leader and when it comes down to it he is noble and honest towards his foes!

I am sorry guys and gals!! That is all I could think of!! I guess my creative juices gotta get flowing again!! I hope you liked my Top Ten! What are yours!?

Top Most Ten Vivid Worlds/ Settings in Books

1). Harry Potter by J.K.Rowling. I think this was very self exclamatory. But for those of you who don't know! Harry Potter's world building is one of the most remarkable and imprinting memories and marks on my, and probably half the world's, childhood. When I went to bed my mother always read me at least two chapters from Harry Potter and as the series grew, so did I. I followed Harry and The Gang and enjoyed every magical and action filled word.

2). Perfect by Ellen Hopkins. I felt like I was in Nevada with Kara, Sean, Andre, and Kendra. It was an amazing and vivid telling of the Nevada desert and snowy mountains.

3). The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod by Heather Brewer. The world building in this series had a world inside a world! It wasn't confusing but instead incredible! It was was described as a right in front of you, but naked to the human eye. I loved learning about this small quaint, vampire filled town.

This week's question is..

Q: What drove you to start book blogging in the first place?
A: Well I guess what started my blogging was the that I had nobody in my life to really just talk about books with. I mean I had my mom but we read two totally different genres! I've always like reading blogs; so when the opportunity presented itself (summer) I jumped on it. I liked the web part about it and the blogging and writing part about it. It was something to keep me busy over the summer and a way for me to meet new a great people in this community! I did start off vlogging on YouTube but I decided I was a much better writer than I was speaker..lol!

Please follow and comment and I'll do vice versa :) Have a great week!!

Book Review: Jenny Green's Killer Junior Year by Amy Belasen and Jacob Osborn

Good Reads Synopsis

Jenny Green is a spoiled teen "princess" and the newest junior at Montreal's Molson Academy. Jenny wants a fresh start in her new school, and she's curious to see what Montreal has to offer, most especially in the boy department. Beautiful, charming, and sharp-witted, Jenny has no trouble getting the boys to fall for her.But when she discovers just how despicable the male gender can be -- with the lying, the cheating, and the utter disrespect -- she decides to make them pay...with their lives.

My Review:
Now this book was HILARIOUS!! It was a great break from my reading paranormal books. It was witty, sarcastic and totally sexy! I loved the sarcasm of Jenny and the dumbness of her roommates and her boyfriends are just the worst! I love how this book was set in Montreal most books are set in the U.S. and it was cool seeing it set somewhere else. Although the Canadians didn't seem very Canadian. They weren't very believable.

This week's question is...

Q: Ever pick up a book from a genre you usually don't like and LOVE it? Tell us about it and why you picked it up in the first place.

A: I picked up my first Manga about a year ago. It was Fruits Basket and I have been in love with Manga ever since! I picked it up at request of a friend, she guaranteed me I would love it and if I didn't she would pay for my next book series...Well I paid for my own series because I LOVED IT

I follow back! I love Manga now! How do you feel about it!?

Bigg Talk: Detective Elliot Stabler a Vampire!?

COMMENTS
Well my lovelies...Today's Bigg Talk is about something that flipped my little world upside down! I think everyone knows that HBO's True Blood is based off of The Sookie Stackhouse Series by Charlaine Harris
Well if you are also a Law&Order Junkie like I am then you all know that our beloved Detective Elliot Stabler left the new season of Law&Order: SVU.
AND HERE'S WHY!
HE'S A VAMPIRE!!

Ew.com is being quoted as of saying..
"Chris Meloni has booked his first post-SVU gig — and it’s a bloody good one.

The former star of the Dick Wolf drama will join HBO’s True Blood  in season 5 as an “ancient, powerful vampire who holds the fate of Bill and Eric in his hands.” He will be a series regular."
Read the whole article here Ew.Com

I know if you're finding this out you're about as dumbstruck as me! I was like, "Whaaaaaaa!?!?!?!?" I couldn't believe that loving, sensitive, strong Elliot Stabler was on the other side of the blood now! Don't get me wrong! I think hes great! Hes a great actor, I just didn't expect it! I think watching Elliot be a vampire is going to be a fun, great, experience! But I sure do miss Elliot.
Let me know what you think about Elliot becoming Roman!

Book Review: Glitch by Heather Anastasiu

Title: Glitch
Author: Heather Anastasiu
Genre: YA Sci-Fi
Expected Release: August 7th

In the Community, there is no more pain or war. Implanted computer chips have wiped humanity clean of destructive emotions, and thoughts are replaced by a feed from the Link network.

When Zoe starts to malfunction (or “glitch”), she suddenly begins having her own thoughts, feelings, and identity. Any anomalies must be immediately reported and repaired, but Zoe has a secret so dark it will mean certain deactivation if she is caught: her glitches have given her uncontrollable telekinetic powers.

As Zoe struggles to control her abilities and stay hidden, she meets other glitchers including Max, who can disguise his appearance, and Adrien, who has visions of the future. Both boys introduce Zoe to feelings that are entirely new. Together, this growing band of glitchers must find a way to free themselves from the controlling hands of the Community before they’re caught and deactivated, or worse.

Okay so this review isn't like my others as you can tell. Because I read Glitch and there was something off about it to me. Wether it was the dialogue or the story-line I have no idea but this book was just not my cup of tea. I've never been big on books where people lose all touch to emotion or just have no sense of emotion at all, but I decided to venture out and give Glitch a try.
