This Week's question is...
Do your reading habits change based on your moods? Do you read a certain genre if you are feeling happy or depressed?
A: Yes, I do read based on my moods. If I'm feeling depressed I won't read anything heavy, like a deep paranormal romance or a love story. I would read a more happy book and something hilariously funny. If I am happy then I would venture out and read something heavy and deep. When I feel like it won't put me in a rut.
What about you??
A nice answer! I tend to do the same.

Hopping through. I often don't like reading deep books when I'm happy. They tend to depress me. But if I'm depressed I might as well stay depressed :-)

Great answer--I'm like that sometimes too!

ReplyDeleteIf I'm happy I like to stay happy so I will read something light and funny, actually even when I'm feeling down...it's a nice distraction.

I don't pick up a book based on my moods but I will put a book down if after I start reading it I'm not in the mood for it.

I can't say I really read based on my moods. Rather, a good book will help me change my mood and elicit an emotional response!
ReplyDeleteGreat answer this week! I'm your newest follower :)

For me I find my mood changes the genre that I want to read. I go through blocks where I only read one genre, then I randomly change to another one. But I don't find myself reading certain books because of the way I feel. Although I do find that the way I feel has an impact on how much I enjoy the book! So if I'm angry or sad I try and take a break from reading till I get over it :)

Hop. Followed, good answer.
ReplyDeleteThere a huge focus on these two characters replica handbags and plenty of support material with those who want to see them succeed along the way. Unfortunately http://www.55kipcenter.org/contact.html, a lot of the other cast members get a much smaller role this time around and it feels a bit lighter in general since we had the graduating class going off previously as fendi replica well. Shimao and Noriko have some nice moments and there are some amusing bits to be had with Kanako as she towers over everyone while trying not to be seen. Time is given over again to the search for a little sister among all the students, though the majority of that small arc is used to get Yumi thinking about who she rolex submariner replica want as hers. The lack of focus on some of the others, especially Sachiko, gives this season a very different flavor. But it a welcome one as it forcing Yumi to grow up a bit more and to take on more adult responsibilities and views of things, something that definitely been needed after a year of being like a puppy and racing after Sachiko.
