This week's question is...

Q: Ever pick up a book from a genre you usually don't like and LOVE it? Tell us about it and why you picked it up in the first place.

A: I picked up my first Manga about a year ago. It was Fruits Basket and I have been in love with Manga ever since! I picked it up at request of a friend, she guaranteed me I would love it and if I didn't she would pay for my next book series...Well I paid for my own series because I LOVED IT! 

I follow back! I love Manga now! How do you feel about it!?

    My son love's Manga, its about the only thing he will read LOL. But I want to try it because of my fave series ever has a few.

    I haven't read the manga Fruits Baskets but I have watched the anime. It's so awesome! It was the first anime I ever watched and set the standard for everyone I've watched since lol.

    I haven't read Fruits Basket, but I do read a fair amount of Manga and watch a lot of Anime. Maybe I'll take this as a recommendation!

    Mangas are excellent. I love them and at some point probably had read all shujo manga out there worth reading. Great choice to pick Fruits Basket.

    I love manga!! If you like Fruits Basket you'll probably like Skip Beat. It's awesome :)

    I always cheat and watch the anime instead LOL. I recently picked up a Pokemon manga at the library for my son. He got so confused with the concept of reading something backwards, haha.

    YAY! I love Fruits Basket!! Kyo has my heart ♥
    If you're looking for more good manga, DNAngel is flipping AWESOME (Dark Mousy, drool). Some others I really like are Mugen Spiral, Vampire Knight, Othello, W Juliet, and Land of the Blindfolded. Guru Guru Pon Chan is really cute too.
