Top Ten Tuesday (2)

Top Most Ten Vivid Worlds/ Settings in Books

). Harry Potter by J.K.Rowling. I think this was very self exclamatory. But for those of you who don't know! Harry Potter's world building is one of the most remarkable and imprinting memories and marks on my, and probably half the world's, childhood. When I went to bed my mother always read me at least two chapters from Harry Potter and as the series grew, so did I. I followed Harry and The Gang and enjoyed every magical and action filled word.

). Perfect by Ellen Hopkins. I felt like I was in Nevada with Kara, Sean, Andre, and Kendra. It was an amazing and vivid telling of the Nevada desert and snowy mountains.

). The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod by Heather Brewer. The world building in this series had a world inside a world! It wasn't confusing but instead incredible! It was was described as a right in front of you, but naked to the human eye. I loved learning about this small quaint, vampire filled town.

). Arson by Estevan Vega. The world in Arson was on that reminded me of Stephen King's Bag of Bones. It was quiet, small, and a had a creepy lake, with a masked neighbor.... could it have gotten any better??

). Jenny Green's Killer Junior Year by Amy Belasen and Jacob Osborn. I have always wanted to go to Canada and to have a books actually set in Montreal was amazing! A lot of the things seemed the same as here, but I didn't care because it was a place I've always wanted to visit.

).Animal Farm by George Orwell. I loved this because it was a great way to learn about the structure and details of the Russian Communist Government. The world building and putting animals in charge was an amazing idea!

). Every Magic Tree House Book by Mary Pope Osborne. I love The Magic Tree House books. I have since I was in second grade! I think my favorite one will always be Mummys in the Morning. I still read The Magic Tree House when I want a quick 10 minute read.

). I Never Promised You a Rose Garden by Joanne Greenberg. Is a great story. This book was set in an insane asylum and it was a descriptive and gorgeous telling from a girl with schizophrenia.

). Rage by Julie Ann Peters was a great and awesome book to let me into the world of LGBT. This community is far more diverse than people think it is! It is vast and colorful just as in the heterosexual community. Like we have girly- girls and tomboys, the homosexual community has lipstick lesbians and masculine gays. And the diversity is shown throughout this book.

). Rx by Tracy Lynn. This was a great book to let me into the world of teen drug usage for elite schools and staying awake and studying for tests. This book let me into the mind of a teenage girl selling and dealing drugs to stay ahead and help her classmates stay on their A game.
