Armchair BEA (Day 2) "Best of 2012"
Today's topic is: Share some of your favorite books so far this year, and/or the the books being promoted at BEA that you hope will end up among your favorites for the year!
Well my lovelies here are the books I am soooooo ready to read!
Well guys only one of these books have came out already. The rest are books I can't wait to read. I honestly think these books are going to be the highlight of my reading year! I have read nothing but great things about these books and John Green has my undying love! With T.I.F.O.S being the first book of his I've ever read there is no doubt that I love his writing!
The Books are as listed:
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
Surrender by Elana Johnson
Beautiful Redemption by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead
The Slayer Chronicles: Second Chance by Heather Brewer
Thanks for reading my lovelies!
I just recently finished reading Vampire Academy, so I know I'll be itching to read The Golden Lily once I get through ALL of the other books!
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading :)
I've been reading a few of the Day 2 posts now and lots of people are mentioning The Fault in Our Stars - and I am reading it! It's very good so far.
ReplyDeleteCome and check out my giveaway (Int).
I had TFIOS on my list as well - seems like it'll be a popular choice! I have never read any Richelle Mead but I definitely have to! She's just one of those authors I haven't gotten around to yet.
ReplyDeleteThe Fault in our Stars has been appearing always. And I've heard awesome things about Richelle Mead. Will be checking her out soon.
ReplyDeleteHappy Day Two of Armchair BEA!
Check out my Top 5 Best of 2012
The cover of The Golden Lily is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great Armchair BEA week!

Thank you all for you comments! I really yes appreciate the feed back! And yes The Fault in Our Stars is something I will literally hold to my heart. As awkward as that sounds, it was one of those books that taught you a lesson that everyone should carry with them. And John Green did a beautiful job getting that message across! Happy Day Two of Armchair BEA to you all, also!! And Thanks, again!!
ReplyDeleteGreat choices! I haven't read any Heather Brewer but I know she's been a staple in the YA market for awhile now, before the surge post Twilight. I still need to read Possession before I get to Surrender!
ReplyDeleteNow this is a list! Love all the titles you have selected, some I've read and favorited, others I can't wait to get my hands on.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great BEA-filled week!

another vote for the fault in our stars! wow.
ReplyDeleteDitto what Marie said. John Green is getting a lot of love from Armchair BEA participants! I haven't read any of those.
ReplyDeleteI spent the last of my birthday money on The Fault in the Stars and I honestly don't regret it! It was amazing and devoured by my eyes! Everytime I was in class and the teacher gave another assignment I wanted to yell at her, "I'M NOT FINISHED YET!"
ReplyDeleteI'm listening to Richelle Mead's Georgina Kindcaid series right now and I absolutely adore it. I keep meaning you give her YA books a try. I guess the fact that it made your list means that I really should get on that!
ReplyDeleteHer Vampire Academy Series is one of my favorite series! it was long, but well worth it.Her characters took on a life of their own and it really added to the story. You know? The fact that each character had their own back story.
DeleteHappy day 2. I have heard a lot of great things about all of these books but have not read any.

TFiOS is showing up on a lot of lists - I'm still not sure how I haven't managed to grab a copy yet! I wasn't overly thrilled with Bloodlines, but I am excited for the return of a certain someone in The Golden Lily!
